The accelerator pedal cover does not fit

The brake pedal is super and fitted well - the accelerator pedal cover does not fit - it does not resemble the fitting pictures. The one I have been sent slots over the pedal and that is not possible with the original pedal. The original is fitted from above whilst the new one is obviously due to be fitted to one hinged at floor level

Hi ,
Thanks for your message. Glad the brake pedal works well!
About the ill - fitting accelerator pedal: this is a replacement part, not a snap - on cover. You need to remove the original accelerator pedal first, and then install the new one—this is why it can't slot over your original pedal as you tried.
Here’s the installation video link: https://youtu.be/Rcs0tKocXpM . It walks you through the whole process clearly.
Let us know if you run into any problems.
Best,
